Pastor Jonathan Ogle is man with a heart for God and a heart for people. With the fire of God’s Spirit in his soul, his earnest desire is to see the Presence of God move mightily and change people’s lives in Ballymoney and beyond.
Pastor Jon is a second generation Pastor on his father’s side. Having been born in Rugby, Warwickshire, at the age of 11, he and his family moved to Nottingham where his parents ‘birthed’ a new Church Fellowship. So from an early age he was involved in ministry, working in all areas of home missions, from Youth Leadership to Worship!
In 2002 he moved to Leicester to Study Law at De Montfort University and continued to travel to Nottingham to work alongside his parents. In 2005 after finishing his degree he moved to Oxfordshire where he worked in Real Estate and latterly in management consultancy.
In 2005 he married his lifelong sweetheart Louise Hemus and whilst in Oxfordshire Pastor Jon began Pastoral duties at his local church.
In August 2007 their first child Olivia was born and after 4 years of ministry in Oxfordshire, the family relocated and joined Birmingham Lighthouse Church where he became part of the leadership team.
In the summer of 2008 he was made National Youth Director of the United Pentecostal Church of Great Britain & Ireland. Within the role Pastor Jon was responsible for the vision and direction of the division overseeing the youth of over 30 churches. Over the six years that he served in this role, many young people were saved, healed, restored and encouraged to become the individuals God was calling them to be. Today many of these young people are serving in all kinds of ministry.
He has ministered across the World and during many of these visits God moved powerfully as many lives were changed.
In December 2010 their second daughter Grace Alexandra was born.
In January 2014 Pastor Jon and his family returned to Bethesda Ministries in Nottingham to assist his Father. During this time he had the privilege of leading many people to Christ. In July 2015 Pastor Jon, Louise, Olivia and Grace relocated from Birmingham to Ballymoney to join the Pastoral team of Ballymoney Church of God. In October 2015 he was formally inducted as a minister in the church fellowship and within a year a new little addition arrived called Phoebe Rose Ogle! Pastor Jon and his family feel honoured that God would choose them to become part of such a visionary Pastoral Team and vibrant church. They are very excited to be in a Church Fellowship whose vision is expansive and whose heart longs to reach the people of the community with the message of Christ.
